One day, a friend of mine mailed to me. The mail was as follows. "My friend has an earnest desire to ride KTM Duke. But, there is no Duke to buy. If you intend to sell your Duke, please mail to me!"
I didn't intend to sell my Duke at that time. But, practically, I rode my Duke only 1300km last 2years. So I mailed him if his friend wanted to inspect my duke, come to my house at his convenience.
Few days later, my friend and his friend came to my house, and insisted and said,"Please...please sell your Duke to me!!!!".
Motorcycles does not make sense only to own but to ride, I thought gradually. After about 30 minutes, I sold my Duke to him after all...

In the middle of May, the overheating warning lamp turned on in traffic congestion. A radiator fan switch trouble caused overheating. Today, renew the switch and the problem came to satisfactory solution.

Renewed tires from Metzler ME-Z2/F to Pirelli Dragon. I think Prelli Dragon is much better than Metzler ME-Z2/F.

Renewed spark plug (NGK D8EA). Though Splitfire plug was good for Duke, I think durability of Splitfire plug is not enough...:p

>>Re-adjusting pre-load for rear suspention
Adjusted pre-load for rear suspention for my weight. Riding feel changed...easy to turn a corner.

>>Re-adjusting telescopic fork protruding
Adjusted telescopic fork protruding for 5mm. Moto kuma (KTM pro-shop in HOYA-city in TOKYO) adviced to me, "This is the best telescopic fork protruding for '94 Duke".

Camshaft bearing which was made in Turky was used LC4 engine for Duke(1994), but it wasn't enough quality. if the worst comes to the worst, balls were scattered in LC4 engine!!

It costs almost ¥20,000 for KTM genuine parts. So, I bought secondhand voltage regulator for YAMAHA XT225 and use it at my own risk (But it costs only ¥3,000...). Wiring must be fit for it.

Repleced NGK to Sprit Fire #416C. This spark plug is well-suited for LC4 engine. But, they say it does not have not much endurance.I recommend Bosch or NGK, after all...

After all, replace dead battery for Motorcycle use one(GS GT4B-5[12V2.5Ah]). But, GT4B-5 is twice as height as genuine battery. So, I removed the bottom of original battery tray, and handcrafted new battery tray.(Special thanks to Mr.Takei who is chief mechanic of Motoshop KAJIGAYA)。

It costs almost ¥10,000 for KTM genuine parts. So, I bought rear brake pad for BMW F650 and use it at my own risk (¥5,000).

LC4 engine has two oil filters. One is built-in the right side of engine. Another is the bottom of oil tank(down tube of frame). At this time, I renewed both of them. And you must bleed air of oil tank whenever exchanging engin oil.

Riding on TOHOKU EXPRESSWAY, tachometer, turn signal lights & headlight(only Hi beam)fails suddenly. The reason was as follows. By engine vibration, one of the ground terminal in the meter coul was broken and the cirkit of tachometer, turn signal lights & headlight(only Hi biam) were loosen.I was really surprised and disappointed of this trouble.
